1. I love Eugene, Oregon & lived there for six months.  2. San Francisco is my favorite place in the world.  3. Once I bought what I thought was a hemp product on the street there and it was green shag carpeting.  4. I worked the midnight shift as a word processor in a NYC law firm.  5.  I lived in Winston-Salem, NC and hated every minute of it.

6. I played the saxophone in high school band.  7.  Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream is my favorite and it puts me right to sleep.  8. Hot, spicy food is my thing.  9. Always preferred books to dolls.  10. I am a bit obsessed with proper spelling & grammar.

11. I love writing & reading letters to the editor.   12.  Once, a letter was written about me wherein a fat attorney stated that I was a “Democratic plant,” when actually I was a registered Republican at the time.  13. Today I am an avowed Independent.  14. My Bachelor’s is in Criminal Justice.  15. I worked as an adult probation officer for one year & had to recommend people be sent to prison; I would always start to cry in court. 

16. Drums & acoustic guitar are my favorite instruments.  17. I once drove my car onto a sidewalk while chasing a bus my boyfriend had just jumped on.  18. When I was 16 my boyfriends were 23 & 26.  19. I was sexually assaulted by a large black man who jumped on top of me in the middle of the night, when working in a runaway home.  I screamed and scared him away, but he tried to come back in the window.  He was never caught.  I wish I’d scratched his face.  20. I jumped out of an airplane for a class at the University of Oregon.

21. I once dated my sister’s boyfriend.  22. I got in a fight at work with a girl who had really long hair, which I pulled really tight.  She got fired and I didn’t.  I should have been.  23. A homeless man once told me he might be willing to “give up the life” to be with me.  I was very impressed.  24.  I saw a guy pull a toothbrush out of the garbage once and immediately use it to brush his teeth.  25.  I was in an earthquake in San Francisco while taking a shower.

26. I worked in a federal halfway house and the walls were all painted black, there were chains mounted to blocks of wood.  It was previously an S&M Parlor.  27.  I volunteered in a juvenile detention facility and had to participate in strip searches.  28. I used to wear fake nails but quit.  29. I have a cousin who is a television anchor.  30. I have a fake front tooth.  It was chipped twice and had to be capped.

31. I once caught a 6.5 lb. Walleye in Minnesota, when I was only 7 years old.  32. A boy in 2nd grade told me to “go breastfeed off your mother.”  I was totally confused.  33. I was once knocked unconscious in an automobile accident.  34.  The girl driving the car hit a pizza truck broadside while changing her shirt. 35. I once dropped my cell phone in a footbath while getting a pedicure.

36.  I think Stevie Wonder & Prince are both genius.  37.  I worked in a group home and was the only white staff person, everyone else was black.  It was a wonderful experience.  38. In said group home a girl threw a light bulb at my head and barely missed.  39. I almost drowned in a riptide, a horrible & terrifying experience.  40. At age 15 I visited my boyfriend in jail.

41.  I have a blind friend named Alyce who is 78.  We have the same birthday & both curse a lot when talking to each other.  42. I took some classes and can make decent looking jewelry.  43. Labor with my son took 37-1/2 hours and I had to have a blood transfusion, in San Francisco, 1985.  44.  I have been AIDS tested several times and am negative. 

45. If my hair looks good, I’m happy.  46. I wear size 11 shoes.  I gained a size with my second child.  47.  I gained 80 pounds during my first pregnancy & lost almost all of it.  48.  I worked for a death penalty attorney & loved the work.  49. I can drive a stick shift.  50.  My first car was a red Dodge Charger.

    WOW…quite an interesting life you have led! I was in the ‘89 quake in Frisco (I grew up in the bay area) and was standing outside our apartment watching the apartments and sidewalk…roll *LOL*

    I also have a friend with the same birthday, and he has a friend with the same birthday. I asked to see his driver license it seemed so unbelievible.

    Regarding #9, my 2 1/2 yr old daughter goes to sleep clutching a book in each arm. She adamantly shuns doll.

    I’m obsessed with grammar and spelling too. I recently misspelled “fluorescent” in a blog and almost had a nervous breakdown.
